Meet Our CEO, Ruth Naomi Mitchell

With over a decade of experience in teaching women how to nurture and grow their hair, Ruth Naomi Mitchell brings a wealth of knowledge and personal passion to MYHG. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Ruth moved to Florida at the age of 14, where she later graduated from Johnson & Wales University.

In 2019, after the birth of her second son, Ruth faced a life-altering ordeal. The delivery led to a near-death experience involving an emergency cesarean section, a massive blood transfusion, and an unplanned hysterectomy at the young age of 30. Aware of the impending severe postpartum hair loss due to the trauma, Ruth was determined to find a solution. Just two months after the ordeal, when the severe hair loss began, she decided to take control of the situation.

Unsatisfied with the solutions available in retail stores, Ruth turned to her garden, where she crafted a unique blend of herbs tailored to combat her severe hair loss. To her astonishment, the homemade remedy did more than just prevent hair loss; it also triggered rapid and remarkable hair growth, extending her hair from waist length to an astonishing "butt length" in a surprisingly short time.

This breakthrough led to the birth of Maximize Your Hair Growth (MYHG). Today, Ruth is dedicated to empowering women around the world, sharing her discovery to help others not only combat hair loss but also achieve their dream hair length.
